Job Description

MLabs is hiring a Senior Blockchain DevOps Engineer to support a large-scale blockchain and financial technology program for a UAE-based enterprise client.

You will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and scaling blockchain infrastructure in production environments. This role combines modern DevOps practices with blockchain node operations, automation, and high-availability system design.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating blockchain nodes and managing secure, production-grade infrastructure in distributed environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain blockchain nodes and supporting infrastructure
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for blockchain and backend services
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of blockchain systems
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot distributed environments
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions
• Collaborate with protocol, smart contract, backend, and security teams

Requirements

• 5+ years DevOps / Infrastructure engineering experience
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Experience operating blockchain nodes in production
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and distributed systems

Preferred

• Experience supporting Layer-1 or Layer-2 blockchain infrastructure
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, etc.)
• Experience implementing monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
• Experience in fintech or regulated environments
• Experience working in distributed remote teams
