Our client is a pioneering technology laboratory developing advanced intent-based infrastructure to enable seamless cross-chain interactions. By connecting AI, services, and financial applications, the organization designs intent-driven liquidity layers where smart contracts and decentralized agents interact in real-time. With a core focus on AI, cryptography, and decentralized finance (DeFi), the team is redefining the architecture of cross-chain execution.
The Senior Software Engineer (Solvers) will architect and guide the development of the Solver network—the critical infrastructure powering the ecosystem. This role involves leading engineering design, enhancing performance and reliability, and building the next generation of intent-powered execution frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
-
Architect the Solver Framework: Design the algorithms, execution strategies, and infrastructure required for solver competition, quote aggregation, and intent-ready execution workflows.
-
Lead Technical Excellence: Drive high-impact architectural decisions and uphold rigorous engineering standards through deep code and design reviews.
-
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, research, and ecosystem stakeholders to ensure Solver capabilities align with the broader technical roadmap.
-
Optimize Performance at Scale: Ensure low-latency and high-throughput execution across multiple chains and decentralized environments.
-
Develop Solver Economics: Shape incentive structures, competition mechanisms, and cryptoeconomic models to foster and sustain participation within the network.
-
Hands-on Technical Leadership: Balance high-level architectural oversight with active coding, prototyping, and resolving complex technical challenges in real-time.
Requirements
-
Professional Experience: 7+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record in distributed systems, high-performance networking, or large-scale infrastructure.
-
Web3 Domain Expertise: Strong familiarity with smart contracts, on-chain execution frameworks, or cryptoeconomics.
-
Technical Stack: Fluency in TypeScript and Go is required. Experience with Rust is considered a significant advantage.
-
Leadership Capability: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor globally distributed engineering teams.
-
Problem-Solving & Abstraction: Exceptional ability to abstract complexity, breaking down technical and organizational hurdles into actionable resolutions.
-
Adaptability: Proficiency in navigating ambiguity, taking full ownership of projects, and thriving in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building MEV strategies, solver networks, or competitive auction mechanisms.
- Familiarity with cross-chain messaging protocols or cryptographic signature aggregation.
- Knowledge of AI/ML applications within optimization problems.
- Prior contributions to open-source ecosystems or Web3-native protocols.
Benefits
-
Competitive Compensation: A total compensation package ranging from $250,000 – $280,000 (Base salary - $160K - $180K)
-
Incentive Structure: Includes a performance-based bonus of 10%.
-
Equity/Token Allocation: Token grants with a 2-year vesting schedule and a 1-year cliff.
-
Professional Environment: Opportunity to work with a high-caliber, result-oriented team at the forefront of blockchain and AI integration.
