We are a small, tight-knit group of builders who combine the discipline of high-performance finance teams with the creativity of a fast-moving crypto-native startup. We value clear thinking, extreme ownership, and high-velocity decision-making. We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to accelerate the delivery of both internal tools and customer-facing products. In this role, you will:

• Design, build, and operate backend services with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and developer experience.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, taking ownership of critical systems.
• Shape technical standards and ensure operational excellence.
• Our current stack includes TypeScript, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of backend service development experience, with 3+ years working in TypeScript/Node.js.
• Database Fluency: Fluency with relational databases and SQL.
• Production Reliability: Proven ability to ship production systems with high uptime and minimal maintenance burden.
• Code Quality: Strong commitment to clean code principles and automated testing.
• API Expertise: Deep understanding of API design (versioning, documentation) and modern authentication patterns.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating in remote, asynchronous teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments.
• Familiarity with performance profiling, latency reduction, and service-level adherence.
• Background in designing and operating event-driven architectures.
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Experience integrating or interacting with blockchain node software (e.g., geth, Solana validators).
• Passion for building internal tools that improve developer productivity and operational efficiency.
