Our client is hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, operate, and scale the systems that power their platform. You will work at the intersection of blockchain, cybersecurity, and distributed infrastructure, ensuring their services are reliable, secure, and ready to meet the demands of a trillion-dollar financial industry. This role goes beyond maintenance: you'll architect, automate, and secure infrastructure, improve resilience, and embed best-in-class DevOps and SRE practices into their workflows.


The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be a technical owner of the cloud-native infrastructure, driving security, scalability, and operational excellence across the platform.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Cloud Architecture & Security: Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS) with a strong focus on scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Architect and operate containerized systems using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS), ensuring high availability and resilience.
  • Automation & CI/CD: Automate provisioning and deployments end-to-end using Terraform and implement robust CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
  • Observability: Implement and maintain full observability using platforms like Datadog across logs, metrics, and distributed traces.
  • Hardening: Configure and manage secure enclaves (like AWS Nitro) to harden critical, sensitive financial workflows and data.
  • Optimization: Optimize performance and reliability of Node.js applications and core backend services.
  • Collaboration: Partner with product and security teams to align infrastructure decisions with the roadmap and risk mitigation strategy.



Technical Expertise:


  • Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in Infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles in cloud-native environments.
  • Cloud Mastery: Strong expertise with AWS services (Lambda, EKS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch). Experience with GCP, IBM, or Thales is a plus.
  • DevOps/SRE: Deep knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized microservices. Skilled in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and CI/CD automation.
  • Data: Experience administering and tuning both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Security: Solid understanding of infrastructure security, applied cryptography fundamentals, and secure architecture design.
  • Scripting: Proficiency in scripting and systems programming (e.g., Python, Go, Rust, or TypeScript).
  • Observability: Familiarity with observability platforms (Datadog, ELK stack, Prometheus/Grafana).
  • Domain (Ideal): Experience with blockchain networks and smart contracts is highly beneficial.

Compensation & Benefits


  • Title: Senior Infrastructure Engineer
  • Salary: $180,000 – $260,000 per year (full-time)
  • Equity: 100 – 200 stock options, vested over 4 years
  • Location: United States (Remote-first, office optional)
