Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Mobile Engineer to take ownership of the user-facing side of our platform. This critical role involves driving the design and development of our iOS and Android applications, with a focus on delivering a fast, intuitive, and trustworthy user experience. You will refine our cross-platform frameworks and actively shape the SDKs and developer tools that enhance our mobile offerings. The ideal candidate possesses deep mobile expertise, strong UX instincts, and a commitment to clean architecture, security, and reliability. You have a proven background in shipping real products within the FinTech or blockchain space and know how to effectively balance development speed with technical rigor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of our native iOS and Android applications.
• Own complex features end-to-end, from initial concept and launch through ongoing iteration.
• Refine existing SDKs and cross-platform frameworks to ensure smooth integrations and consistent performance.
• Implement FinTech-grade UX and bank-grade security standards for mobile wallet functionalities.
• Establish and maintain high standards for performance, security, and architecture.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to ship new features rapidly and effectively.
• Contribute to the team through writing clear documentation, conducting thorough code reviews, and mentoring teammates.

Requirements

• Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in mobile engineering, with a proven track record of leading projects.
• Core Expertise: Expert proficiency in React Native or strong knowledge of native mobile development (e.g., Swift, Kotlin).
• Cross-Platform Skills: Skilled in cross-platform development and working with SDKs.
• Security Focus: Hands-on experience with modern, secure authentication methods, including WebAuthn and passkeys.
• Industry Background: Proven record of successfully shipping mobile applications in the FinTech or on-chain space.
• Attributes: Strong sense of UX, extremely detail-oriented, and highly reliable.
• Teamwork: Clear communicator who thrives and excels in fast-moving teams.
