We are hiring on behalf of our client who is a premier financial technology firm backed by leading venture capital investors. The organization is dedicated to transforming the global movement of value through the development of next-generation stablecoin infrastructure. Our client combines the rigor of high-performance finance with the agility of a crypto-native startup to build a seamless platform for developers, fintechs, and institutions.
As the People Operations & Office Coordinator, the successful candidate will serve as the operational engine of the organization. This is a high-leverage "super-generalist" role designed for an individual who thrives on execution and operational excellence rather than abstract strategy. This position acts as the "glue" for the team, providing a high level of support to the Founder and acting as a trusted resource for all employees.
The ideal candidate finds genuine satisfaction in "closing the loop," whether that involves ensuring flawless payroll execution, organizing world-class team off-sites, or resolving internal logistics before they require leadership intervention.
Key Responsibilities
-
Founder Leverage & Administration: Serve as the primary point of contact for administrative tasks, expense management, and office logistics to ensure leadership remains focused on core objectives.
-
Payroll & Finance Operations: Take full ownership of monthly payroll and benefits administration, managing expenses and maintaining the organization’s financial "house" regarding employee matters.
-
Employee Relations: Act as a confidential, approachable "safe harbor" for the team. Handle employee inquiries and HR-related issues with empathy, maturity, and common sense.
-
Event & Culture Logistics: Plan and execute high-impact team off-sites and on-sites. Manage all travel logistics and catering to foster a thriving culture both in-person and remotely.
-
HR Generalist Tasks: Manage the "nuts and bolts" of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, contract management, and the maintenance of internal documentation.
Requirements
-
Operational Experience: 2–5 years of experience in a startup, finance, or fast-paced professional environment.
-
Execution Mindset: A strong preference for action and tangible results over corporate "fluff."
-
Maturity and Discretion: Proven ability to handle sensitive information and personal employee matters with the utmost confidentiality.
-
Attention to Detail: An obsession with accuracy, whether managing complex spreadsheets or coordinating intricate travel itineraries.
-
Adaptability: A "no task too small" mentality with the ability to pivot between high-level coordination and granular administrative tasks.
Benefits
- The opportunity to work with a mission-driven team of builders in a high-growth sector.
- A culture that values clear thinking, extreme ownership, and high-velocity decision-making.
- Competitive compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience.
- Compensation: $100K - $125K
- Direct impact on the operational foundations of a venture-backed fintech leader.
