We are hiring on behalf of our client, the pioneers behind a high-performance Layer 1 blockchain that is setting a new global standard for scalability. By re-engineering the most widely adopted execution environments in Web3, they provide decentralized applications with the performance of Web2 combined with the sovereignty of Web3. They are seeking a highly strategic and operationally adept Chief of Staff to serve as a direct partner to our executive leadership. This role goes far beyond administrative support; you will be a trusted advisor and core team member with broad visibility into our highest strategic priorities. As they enter a pivotal stage of growth, you will be the "operational glue" that drives execution, ensures organizational alignment, and translates high-level vision into measurable outcomes.


This position is based in New York City and requires a strong on-site presence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership: Work alongside the C-suite to prioritize objectives and act as a force multiplier by translating strategy into actionable project plans.
  • Operational Rigor: Design and maintain the organization’s "operating rhythm," including planning cycles, OKR tracking, and executive updates to drive accountability.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as the central hub for information flow, ensuring departments are coordinated and that decisions are communicated consistently across the team.
  • Special Projects: Lead high-impact, high-visibility initiatives from concept to execution with full autonomy and discretion.
  • Problem Solving: Identify organizational gaps or process inefficiencies and proactively implement scalable solutions.



Requirements

  • Professional Background: Proven experience in operations, strategy, investment banking, management consulting, or a similar high-rigor environment.
  • Executive Presence: Prior experience working directly with C-suite executives or founders in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Analytical Excellence: Strong capability to navigate complex, ambiguous problems and execute with precision.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to synthesize complex data into clear briefings.
  • Operational Mindset: Highly organized and process-oriented with a natural bias toward action and a "get it done" attitude.
  • Availability: Comfortable being “always-on” when urgency demands and thriving in a fast-paced, "startup" atmosphere.



Bonus Points:

  • Deep passion for or experience in the Crypto, Blockchain, or Web3 ecosystems.
  • Experience in investment banking or other detail-intensive analytical roles.



Benefits & Compensation

  • Competitive Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 base salary.
  • Performance Bonus: 10% – 15% annual target.
  • Token Incentives: Annual token grant equivalent to 10% – 15% of base salary (subject to a standard 4-year vesting schedule).
