Our client is a venture-backed startup based in San Francisco that is revolutionizing the corporate events industry through an AI-powered platform. By automating the complexities of venue sourcing and vendor negotiations, the organization enables teams to facilitate in-person connections more efficiently. Having already executed global events for major technology firms like Google and Amazon, the company is now seeking a Founding Product Engineer to lead the development of high-impact features for a growing roster of enterprise customers.

This is a unique "zero-to-one" role designed for a Full stack Engineer who possesses strong product intuition and a deep appreciation for design. The successful candidate will not only write code but will also engage directly with enterprise clients to translate their complex needs into polished, elegant technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Development: Own the full product development cycle, from initial customer discovery and requirement gathering to deployment and iteration.
• Full-Stack Engineering: Build and scale features using a modern stack including React, TypeScript, Next.js, Node, and Python.
• Enterprise Customization: Work directly with large enterprise customers to understand their specific operational hurdles and build custom features to address them.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales and Operations teams to identify and prioritize high-impact requests that drive platform growth.
• Technical Decision-Making: Make foundational product and technical decisions that ensure the platform is scalable, trustworthy, and intuitive for enterprise use cases.
• Product Culture: Help define the organization's engineering standards, product culture, and internal development processes from day one.

Requirements

• Full-Stack Proficiency: Proven experience building and shipping full-stack products with a focus on high-quality design and user experience.
• Technical Stack: High confidence in modern web frameworks (React/Next.js) and SQL.
• Product Intuition: A strong ability to translate ambiguous customer needs into elegant, functional software solutions.
• Customer-Facing Skills: Comfort working directly with external stakeholders to gather requirements and validate features.
• Design Sensibility: A strong eye for detail and the ability to build beautiful, polished interfaces that meet enterprise standards.
• Mindset: A proactive "owner" mentality with a preference for moving fast, taking initiative, and shipping frequently.
• Location: This is an in-person role based at the office in San Francisco.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building custom features specifically for enterprise-level B2B SaaS.
• Background in product management or customer-facing engineering roles.
• Prior experience in early-stage (0-to-1) startup environments.
• Strong UI/UX design skills or experience working in high-fidelity collaboration with designers.
