Compensation: $80,000 – $120,000 with an OTE of $160,000 – $240,000, plus 0.1% – 0.5% equity (flexible based on experience).


Our client is a venture-backed startup based in San Francisco that is revolutionizing the corporate events industry through an AI-powered platform. By automating the complexities of venue sourcing and vendor negotiations, the organization enables teams to connect in person more efficiently than ever before. Having already executed global events for some of the world’s most recognizable technology companies, our client is now scaling its sales operations to meet increasing demand.


This role is designed for a high-energy, "zero-to-one" sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will not only drive revenue but will also act as a strategic partner to the founding team, helping to refine the sales playbook, product positioning, and CRM workflows from the ground up.


Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Sales Ownership: Manage the entire sales process from initial prospecting and outbound outreach to closing deals with mid-market and enterprise organizations.
  • Volume-Driven Execution: Maintain a high activity level, targeting 70–100 client contacts per day to build and sustain a robust pipeline.
  • Product Advocacy: Conduct discovery calls and live demos with confidence, serving as a subject matter expert on AI agents, platform capabilities, and integrations.
  • Persona-Based Selling: Navigate various stakeholders, including Meetings & Events teams, People Operations, Executive Assistants, and agencies.
  • Strategic Feedback Loop: Partner directly with the founders to translate customer feedback into actionable product improvements and messaging refinements.
  • Operational Excellence: Build and optimize CRM workflows and sales playbooks to define "great sales" for the organization.



Requirements

  • Proven Sales Track Record: Demonstrated success closing deals within a B2B SaaS environment, ideally ranging from SMB to mid-market.
  • High-Volume Proficiency: Ability to maintain the discipline required for 70–100 daily client touches.
  • Startup Agility: Comfort operating in an evolving "zero-to-one" environment where processes are still being defined and the product is rapidly advancing.
  • Strategic Intuition: Strong ability to tailor messaging based on specific buyer personas and navigate complex pricing or negotiation conversations.
  • Location: Must be able to work in-person at the San Francisco office.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling to HR, Marketing, Operations, or Event teams.
  • History as a top 10% performer (e.g., President’s Club recognition).
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams to influence the roadmap.
