MLabs is hiring Senior and Lead iOS Engineers to support a large-scale financial technology program for a UAE-based enterprise client. You will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance, secure mobile applications used in a regulated financial environment. The role requires strong expertise in Swift and SwiftUI, with a focus on clean architecture, scalability, and seamless integration with backend services. Lead-level candidates will contribute to architectural decisions, guide mobile best practices, and mentor engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI
• Implement clean, maintainable, and testable mobile architecture
• Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs and secure services
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and reliability
• Collaborate with backend, blockchain, and product teams
• Participate in code reviews and enforce engineering standards
• Lead Engineers: provide technical leadership, mentor developers, and contribute to architectural strategy

Requirements

• 5+ years (Senior) / 8+ years (Lead) iOS development experience
• Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI
• Experience with REST API integration
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
• Experience with performance optimization and debugging
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications

Preferred

• Experience in fintech, banking, or regulated environments
• Experience working in distributed remote teams
• Familiarity with secure mobile development practices
• Exposure to blockchain-integrated mobile applications
