We are hiring on behalf of our client in the financial technology sector who is seeking a Director of Enterprise Sales to spearhead the growth of its cross-border payments and banking infrastructure business. This organization is currently developing the foundational infrastructure layer for the next generation of global payments, addressing the complexities of fragmented money movement for FinTech's, PSPs, and global financial institutions.

This is a high-autonomy role designed for a "builder" who thrives in high-impact environments. The successful candidate will own the full sales cycle and play a pivotal role in shaping the client's market presence in the US and beyond. This position is ideal for an individual with deep credibility in the payments space who is energized by solving hard problems and maintaining total ownership over their work.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Sales Ownership: Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach and lead generation through solution design, commercial negotiation, and post-sale implementation.
  • Pipeline Development: Leverage an established professional network across the US and international markets to independently build and manage a robust book of business.
  • Strategic GTM Contribution: Influence the go-to-market strategy by identifying priority segments and refining the enterprise sales motion for the US and key global markets.
  • Technical Solutioning: Lead high-level architectural conversations regarding payment rails, integration models, compliance frameworks, and treasury operations for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Proposal Engineering: Collaborate with internal teams to build tailored, client-specific proposals that are commercially sound and compliant across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Commercial Negotiation: Structure and close complex, high-value deals while balancing client objectives with the organization's commercial and regulatory frameworks.
  • External Representation: Act as a senior face of the organization at industry events and within the broader global financial ecosystem to enhance market perception and brand authority.

Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 8+ years in enterprise B2B sales specifically within payments, fintech, or banking infrastructure.
  • Proven Track Record: A demonstrable history of closing high-value deals and building significant revenue momentum in a professional capacity.
  • Market Network: A deep, established network within the US fintech and PSP space, complemented by global relationships and a cross-border market perspective.
  • Technical Domain Expertise: Strong working knowledge of API-driven integrations and global payment rails (including SWIFT, SEPA, ACH, FPS, and RTP), as well as AML/KYC compliance and treasury operations.
  • High Agency: The ability to operate with significant autonomy and drive outcomes in an environment where structure is evolving and the individual is expected to set the direction.
  • Communication: Exceptional executive presence with the ability to navigate boardroom negotiations and detailed product/technical discussions with equal credibility.
  • Education: A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience with stablecoins, embedded finance, or global settlement networks is highly desirable.

Benefits

  • Visibility & Impact: Join a mission-driven organization at a critical inflection point where contributions are highly visible and impact is measurable.
  • Ownership: High levels of autonomy and the opportunity to help shape the commercial strategy of a growing infrastructure provider.
  • Innovation: Work at the forefront of financial services technology, solving complex problems in a market without an established winner.
  • Professional Growth: Opportunity to operate as a senior commercial leader within a high-velocity environment backed by prominent industry investors.
