Apply for this job

Location: London

Hybrid | Full-time

Compensation: £50K - £75K

Our client is an early-stage B2B cross-border payments platform that utilizes cryptocurrency rails to provide digital financial infrastructure. The platform enables businesses to pay, convert, and generate yield using Crypto, Stablecoins, and Fiat. As the organization scales its regulated fintech operations, it is formalizing its operational and governance infrastructure at the board level.

The Board & Operations Infrastructure Lead will work directly with the Board and senior leadership team to install and enforce the systems, structure, and execution discipline required to run a high-growth regulated business. This is an operational integrator role—not a traditional Executive Assistant or compliance position. The primary objective is to build order from complexity, reduce operational noise for the founders, and ensure a culture of high accountability.

What You’ll Do

  • Operational Infrastructure: Design, install, and manage a company-wide Project Management (PM) system to streamline cross-functional work.
  • Board Governance: Manage the cadence of board meetings, including the preparation of board packs, action logs, and tracking deliverables.
  • Execution Discipline: Build and maintain structured Gantt charts and workstreams, ensuring senior stakeholders meet deadlines and commitments.
  • Process Optimization: Audit and restructure document repositories and internal reporting cadences to create a "single source of truth."
  • Regulatory Support: Support the documentation process for regulatory and banking applications, maintaining live trackers for licensing milestones.
  • Founder Support: Measurably reduce the operational tracking burden on founders by building operational health dashboards and escalation protocols.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–7 years of professional experience, ideally within a fast-scaling startup or a structured corporate environment.
  • Systems Expertise: Proven track record of implementing operational systems or PM tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp) across a business.
  • Mindset: You think in terms of structure, ownership, and timelines. You are obsessively organized and thrive in high-accountability environments.
  • Interpersonal Strength: You are comfortable—and effective—at chasing senior stakeholders to ensure follow-through.
  • Agency: You are a practical, execution-focused individual who enjoys building order from complexity.
  • Bonus: Experience in regulated environments (Fintech, Crypto, or Banking) is helpful but not required. An execution-first mindset is essential.

Benefits

  • Salary: £50,000 – £75,000 (Dependent on Experience).
  • Flexibility: Remote-first culture with a weekly touchpoint in London to maintain team cohesion.
  • Exposure: Direct access to Board-level operations and senior leadership in the crypto/fintech space.
  • Growth: A clear 180-day roadmap with the autonomy to design the operational blueprint of the company

The 180-Day Roadmap

Our client believes in clarity from day one. Your initial focus will be:

  • Days 1–30 (Audit): Map active workstreams, identify structural gaps, and propose a company-wide PM system.
  • Days 30–90 (Build): Implement the PM system, build a 12-month master Gantt, and standardize board reporting.
  • Days 90–180 (Scale): Automate reporting, install escalation protocols, and measurably reduce the founder's operational burden.
  • Final Outcome: A high-accountability environment where "hidden deadlines" don't exist.
