Our client is a rapidly growing technology company operating at the forefront of the high-stakes crypto derivatives sector, a market with annualized revenues in the tens of billions. Their platform is one of the fastest-growing crypto derivatives exchanges, capturing a significant and expanding share of the global market. They are building the next essential feature in this space: Multi-Asset Margin, which will allow users to post various forms of collateral directly on-chain, eliminating the need to liquidate assets into USDC before trading. Their infrastructure is designed to bring multiple trading venues and expanded financial utility directly to the user.

You will join their Infrastructure & Platform team to design, deploy, and operate the core components of their scalable, high-performance systems. You will focus on compute, storage, and networking while working closely with the product team to deliver exceptional speed and reliability in demanding, real-time environments.

What You'll Do:

• Develop scripts and services to ensure speed and reliability in their real-time trading environment.
• Deploy and manage compute resources and containers for custom services and integrations.
• Automate scaling, load balancing, and congestion control across both compute and database layers.
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, rollback, and continuous delivery.
• Monitor system performance (CPU, memory, I/O, network) and tune configurations for maximum throughput and resiliency.
• Build indexing and explorer services to enable live, fast, and expressive data channels for their users.
• Provision and optimize diverse database systems for time-series, relational SQL, key-value, and in-memory workloads.

Requirements

Experience: 3+ years building production-grade infrastructure in cloud or on-prem environments.

Scripting & Low-Level Languages: Strong scripting skills in Rust and other low-level languages.

Compute Management: Deep expertise managing compute instances directly (e.g., EC2 VMs) and/or container orchestrations (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Networking: Solid networking fundamentals: VPCs, subnets, load balancers, NAT, VPN, and network security.

Automation: Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

Database Experience: Proven track record with time-series databases (e.g., TimescaleDB, InfluxDB) and key-value stores (e.g., DynamoDB, Redis).

Performance: Experience profiling and optimizing low-level system performance under high load.

Legal: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
