Member of Technical Staff – AI Agents

Compensation: $140K–$240K

We are hiring on behalf of our client, A fast-growing, high-impact technology company building open-source browser infrastructure for AI agents and applications who is seeking an exceptional Member of Technical Staff to join its team. The organization provides API solutions enabling developers to seamlessly deploy AI products that interact directly with the web. Driven by massive growth, millions of monthly sessions, and strong backing from world-class investors, our client is assembling a lean, high-talent team to shape the future of web automation and AI-driven interactions.

This role focuses on advancing how AI agents interact with the web by developing open-source frameworks, building high-value demonstrations, and refining developer tools. The ideal candidate will bridge product engineering, AI model integration, and developer experience to make the platform indispensable for engineers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop robust developer tools and frameworks to execute browser agents on top of scalable session APIs.
• Design and run empirical experiments to evaluate models, prompts, and harnesses for browser automation performance.
• Construct rigorous evaluation datasets and benchmarks to test AI agents against complex, real-world web scenarios.
• Build engaging open-source demonstration applications showcasing the capabilities of web-interacting AI agents.
• Collaborate directly with customers and technical users to guide the deployment of custom agent workflows into production.
• Produce clear technical writing and insights unpacking learnings from complex engineering and debugging processes.

Requirements:

• Experience: 4+ years of professional experience writing high-quality, production-ready code.
• AI-Native Workflow: Daily reliance on and deep familiarity with AI agents and AI-assisted tools within software development workflows.
• Full-Stack Execution: Proven track record of shipping full-stack product features end-to-end, with comfort moving fluidly across design, frontend, backend, and model integration.
• Developer Tooling Focus: Strong interest in developer ergonomics, API design, and creating exceptional developer experiences.
• Technical Communication: Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
• Product Sense & Autonomy: Strong product intuition, sound decision-making skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly autonomous environment.

Interview Process

1. Screening Interview: 30-minute introductory call with a Co-Founder.
2. Technical Discussion: In-depth technical interview with the CEO.
3. Technical Assignment: Coding evaluation with a Founding Engineer.
4. Final Stage: One-day on-site interview.
