We are hiring on behalf of our client,a lean and mighty team of passionate builders and veteran founders making the next generation of global payments possible. Their infrastructure makes stablecoins usable in the real world by powering card transactions, cross-border payments, B2B purchases, and remittances. They partner with leading fintechs, neobanks, and global institutions to launch financial solutions that are truly inclusive and efficient.

As a Backend Engineer, you will be a critical part of their technical and product roadmap. You will join a hypergrowth company funded by top-tier investors in fintech, crypto, and SaaS. They operate with an open, flat structure where every team member has the freedom to explore ideas and directly impact their vision for a borderless financial future.

What You’ll Do:

• Architect & Build: Contribute to their core backend and drive architectural decisions for a rapidly evolving product.
• Integrate: Connect their platform with a variety of third-party services to expand our payment capabilities.
• Scale: Help scale their infrastructure to support millions of end users globally.
• Ship: Maintain a high velocity, rapidly delivering new capabilities to their customers.
• Web3 Interaction: Work with smart contracts across multiple chains to bridge the gap between DeFi and traditional finance.

Requirements

• Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with Node.js and modern backend technologies.
• Builder Mentality: You are a proactive creator who experiments with side projects and thrives in a "zero-to-one" environment.
• Experience: They are looking for engineers with 2 to 10+ years of experience (compensation will be tailored to your seniority level).
• Mindset: Curious, bold, and excited to solve complex problems in a fast-paced, high-stakes industry.

Nice to Haves (Brownie Points):

• Fintech Domain Knowledge: Previous experience with neobanks, card issuing, or traditional payment rails.
• Blockchain Experience: Familiarity with smart contracts and decentralized networks.

Interview Process

1. Introductory Screen: A phone call with the CTO to discuss culture, team fit, and background.
2. Technical Deep Dive: A conversation diving into your past projects, the technical challenges you've faced, and the impact you made.
3. Technical Assignment: A 2-hour session with the engineering team. This is split into Architecture and Programming components.
4. Founder Interview: A final wrap-up call with the CEO.
