As a Senior Scrum Master & Agile Delivery Lead, you aren't just facilitating ceremonies, you are the architect of their delivery engine. This is a high-stakes hybrid role designed for a leader who possesses the tactical agility of a Scrum Master and the strategic oversight of a seasoned Program Manager. You will partner directly with leadership to drive a multi-year project portfolio, ensuring their AI and FinTech initiatives are delivered with precision, scale, and technical empathy.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Agile Delivery Architecture: Lead and manage cross-functional agile teams as a Scrum Master while simultaneously directing the conversion of high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications and multi-year project plans.
  • Strategic Portfolio Management: Drive the business’s strategic agenda by identifying project portfolios, developing complex budgets, and managing funds according to rigorous accounting policies and procedures.
  • Process Governance: Serve as a center of excellence for program management. Standardize project management protocols, methodology, and change delivery procedures aligned with global best practices.
  • Stakeholder Orchestration: Oversee the progress of programs through regular status meetings and provide high-quality reporting to senior management on project health, schedule, and costs.
  • Team Mentorship: Coach and mentor team members on agile principles, fostering a culture of self-organization and accountability. Ensure all staff receive appropriate training in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and lead project audits to ensure compliance with proposed standards and delivery within budget.


Requirements


Experience & Education:

  • Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in Information Technology, with a minimum of 5–9 years in a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager role.
  • Industry Expertise: Proven track record managing IT delivery in medium-to-large complex environments, specifically within the Banking, Finance, or Insurance sectors.
  • Technical Fluency: A conceptual understanding of AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow), Cloud Platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS), and Big Data tools (Spark, Hadoop). You understand the technical trade-offs required for AI-driven projects.
  • Methodology Mastery: Expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and experience leading teams through significant agile transformations.
  • Tools: Proficiency with project management and collaboration stacks (Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps).
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills, with the ability to simplify complex problems and articulate strategy to senior stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, IT, or Finance).


Nice to Have:

  • Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or PMP certification.
  • Technical Plus: Basic understanding of SQL queries and database structures to assist in data-heavy project environments.
  • AI Integration: Experience leveraging AI tools to support requirements elicitation and user story refinement.
