We are hiring on behalf of our client, a specialised prime broker for the Hyperliquid ecosystem, building the high-performance infrastructure required for institutional-grade algorithmic trading at scale. They are seeking a highly technical Developer Relations Engineer to own the end-to-end experience for API-driven traders. In this role, you won't just be writing documentation; you will be a strategic partner to systematic funds, proprietary trading firms, and advanced builders. Your goal is to ensure that the integration process is fast, reliable, and low-friction, enabling their clients to execute complex strategies with confidence. You will sit at the intersection of engineering and client success, acting as a technical bridge that ensures our infrastructure meets the rigorous demands of the quantitative trading world.

What You Will Do

  • Integration Leadership: Lead the technical onboarding and end-to-end integration for key institutional trading teams.
  • Developer Tooling: Build and maintain robust SDKs, testing tools, and automated health checks to simplify the developer experience.
  • Documentation & Templates: Maintain high-fidelity API documentation, code examples, and integration templates that set the industry standard.
  • Technical Support: Provide high-level technical support via Discord and dedicated channels, solving complex connectivity or execution issues in real-time.
  • Observability: Actively monitor system reliability and surface critical performance issues to the core engineering team.
  • Product Feedback: Act as the voice of the trader, channelling user feedback into tangible product and infrastructure improvements.

Technical Expertise:

  • Language Proficiency: Strong experience with Python, TypeScript, and Rust.
  • Systems Knowledge: Deep understanding of REST and WebSocket APIs, specifically in the context of exchange-style integrations.
  • Trading Domain: Previous experience with algorithmic trading, quantitative development tooling, or financial exchange systems.
  • Observability: Familiarity with performance monitoring and system observability tools.

The Right Mindset:

  • Systems Thinking: A strong ability to debug complex, distributed systems and identify root causes quickly.
  • Client-Facing Confidence: Comfortable working directly with sophisticated technical users and institutional stakeholders.
  • Execution Bias: Clear communication skills with a relentless bias toward shipping practical, high-impact solutions.

Benefits & Compensation

  • High Ownership: Work at the centre of a rapidly evolving trading ecosystem with direct influence on the product roadmap.
  • Elite Technical Culture: Join a lean, high-output team focused on building world-class trading infrastructure.
  • Flexible Environment: Remote-friendly culture with a focus on results over hours.
  • Equity-Heavy Package: This role offers significant upside with an equity stake of 0.2% – 0.5%, aligning your success with the long-term growth of the platform.
